I call this project LOCAL, for 20years these men have been travelling across London and UK wide to meet up once a week in winter and twice in summer, to laugh, play sport, eat and catch up. This communion is precious and these are my early explorations.

"Everyone's Welcome" - They say variety is the spice of life; my aim is to show diverse people in community. Capturing the joy, pleasures, stillness and story of everyday people to empower and inspire those often marginalised. Pitched to global franchise company Wingstop we were asked to create ideas that aligned with their core values but with a new spin.

Shot on 35mm Kodak Portra and digital on location. I worked closely with the designer, working on the creative direction. The brand has a heavy Moroccan/North African influence but created on English soil, I felt it would have the best impact by shooting with a sand coloured/red aesthetic in ref to Morocco but also have iconic images of an English football goal posts. I chose a local park that could deliver our aesthetic needs.

Myae Softs Collection
Womens fashion label Myae wanted to create a line that was breathable and flexible. A line that can mould into many looks for all women. Mothers, entrepreneurs or just the regular girlies on a daily commute. So, with that we chose to show a woman on the move across the city landscape. She is vibrant, and focused. For this I chose to play with flash capturing not only detail in the garment but to emphasize the vibrant colours of the line and present a woman who is confident.

Celebrating the music industry and the photographers who turn its artists into icons: This was a commission I was asked to be involved with to coincide with Record Store Day on June 12th. Build Hollywood X Your Space or Mine created a one-of-a-kind street gallery with billboard images from legendary photographers Mick Rock and Pogus Caesar displayed alongside those from up-and-coming photographers which included myself and Steven M. Wiggins in London, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
“I wanted to take pictures of people whose careers have been growing alongside mine – artists who I have a lot of mutual respect for. I’ve been watching them build their careers from day one – and they’ve watched my career grow too. I think it’s important to come up together as a unit. Support and encouragement within your own community and within your own space is really important."
Below are the images that were on billboards across the nation including a few extra.
